So two weeks have gone by now since the accident. Not home yet, but back down in Albany again (was up in Fremantle for the surgery and all for most of the time) which is just as good. Certainly makes it easier for mum since we only live about five minutes away from the hospital here... whereas in freo (mm stayed up there with a family friend whilst I was in the hospital) it was about an hour drive there and back for my mum, not to mention the trouble with parking.
Doing okay pain wise... except for when I've accidentally banged my foot.... whoopsies. But even then it's not so bad. As for the foot itself, they check the wound next weekend and in about five weeks or so the cast gets changed from a 'backslab' to a fibreglass cast at which point I'll be able to put some weight on the bad foot(which I can't actually do right now until then) and about 8 or 10 weeks they have to remove a couple of the screws or something. Though don't know with the cast change whether that means back up to freo or not, but definitely have to at the ten week mark.
Anyway thanks to everyone who sent their well wishes in my last post, reeeeeeeeeeally appreciated it.
Ps: I haaaaaaaate that I've been missing absolution :( so not fair (got the iPad but all character info stuff is on home computer :o )

So was going to get hair cut yesterday....
That didn't happen. At about 12:30ish decided to check the roof cavity because stupid rat or possum in the roof... BAD IDEA!!! Got up to fourth rung of ladder when it gave way... and now have a dislocated and fractured ankle. D: they've stabilised the ankle and straightened it out. But have got to wait for RFDS(royal flying doctor service) to take me thru to Perth for the surgery to fix it.
So I'm a right mess right now.

so kind of sick of brushing my hair. and the ends are like awful cause of wearing it in a ponytail. so tuesday rang for appt... didn't get one until Thursday at 4.

still no idea what i want done. except for getting it cut short (at least half my hair will be gone)... but yeah no idea on style, and it's hard to know what'd look okay. so... yeah pictures tomorrow

...and everyone else is asleep. eep.
on the other hand this explains the noise last night, even if i have no idea how it got in since there's like no openings anywhere except the door. O_O
